Mountains seem to draw some of us in, whether to climb, view or paint and they hold a lot of possibilities for the artist. Well the only things we’ll be climbing today are the challenges of getting natural shapes, proportion, distance, colour palettes and textures!
We'll start as always with considering the subject and how it can be portrayed, have a little warm up, some demonstrations of techniques, then it’s all systems go as we tackle this mighty theme. Don’t be daunted, Liana will show you how a 3 stroke technique can get you started simply and effectively.

Students paint for all sorts of reasons ...skills, an enjoyable hobby, health, social life , self expression and so on. Liana’s sessions are considered good value, inspiring and packed with tips: several serious students have gone on to sell their work.
Liana is a seasoned trainer, therapist and artist, skilled at breaking down learning steps ,instilling confidence and creating a warm,fun, supportive atmosphere. All students are invited to join her Artist’s Circle community for free challenges, news and guidance.
