Texture can take our painting to a whole new level, but mishandled becomes a clumpy mess. Come and find out why less is more, which tools are best and the different and sometimes surprising materials that can be used. Many cost pence or are free. You may never look at some items the same again! Again, our favourite coffee painting will make an appearance!
Whether your style is figurative or abstract, there’s room to add distance, interesting texture passages and focal points. With mini demonstrations and examples, there will be a lot to explore before we return to a dried texture paste canvas for a final painting. Are you up for some experimenting?!!
