These skill sessions introduce or recapture the basic skills of the media. Through exercises we will explore, try out and improve our handling of the skill and relate it to the days subject. You will then be able to take it away and integrate it into your paintings.
Fruit can be an attractive standalone study or colourful part of a still life, we need to consider soft and hard transitions, glazes, and underpainting.
Book both am and pm sessions if you want a longer day to paint in either medium.
Please book as early as possible to help us plan for you. Please refer to the materials list here in good time to prepare.
Or complete beginners can purchase/borrow a basic kit for £5.00 cash on the day. Please book the kit at least 2 days before with the box office.
