Creative Writing - The Short Story Form (Fiction and Non Fiction) 4-Week Course
Brief Outline of the Course:
We will explore, discuss and experiment with this fascinating literary form.
Our aim: to have written a complete short story by the end of the course!
A short story could be 1000 words up to 10 000. Join us in this stimulating and friendly space, which is open to anyone no matter your experience.
Friday mornings for four weeks - 10.00am - 12.30pm

Tutor: Julie Stevenson - I have taught English language and literature in different parts of the world, particularly in Zimbabwe where I am from. I love short non-fiction writing and am working on my memoir. I have run several writing retreats in Zimbabwe and Cambridge, and love the sharing of creativity these courses offer.
Julie has already run three successful Creative Writing and Memoir courses here at Pavilions Teignmouth in 2025.
