A new style of small monthly, ongoing sessions, our theme will be Individual Development with a Personal Development Plan. In a small group with the luxury of a big, airy studio by the sea, you will have choices. Liana will ‘meet you’ at you starting point and coach you to develop. Always full of tips and ideas, she will help you warm up before demonstrating the basics in clear steps to those who need them. Improvers will be challenged with more sophisticated steps or supported to work on their own projects. Sometimes we need to hear, see and try techniques several times to ‘bed them in’. After that it’s practice that brings results!
Each week will have a subject theme with recommended techniques [eg skies, trees, people, landscapes, flowers, limited palette etc] influenced by the group. Traditional or looser styles are all embraced as you take your own journey in this satisfying hobby. Many students have gone onto exhibit and even sell!
So come to learn about this medium and techniques needed, practice and develop with 1 to 1 coaching or just have convivial company to paint and enjoy this wonderful pastime. Painting stimulates the brain, relaxes our systems and gives us a new view of the world, what’s not to love?!
All students will be invited to join Liana’s free Artist’s circle for ongoing support.
For guidance on materials please read here in good time…..
For beginners without materials Liana can supply and lend a basic pack for £5 cash on the day, if you book this with the box office at least two days beforehand.
Please note there is a booking fee per transaction. £1.00 online or by telephone, 50p at the box office.
