Teignmouth Comedy Night returns with another brilliant evening of live stand-up, headlined by the outstanding Zoe Lyons.
Zoe is one of the UK’s most accomplished and instantly likeable comedians, known for her sharp writing, warm delivery and effortlessly funny storytelling. A familiar face on British television, she has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, QI, Have I Got News For You and The Royal Variety Performance, cementing her reputation as a true crowd favourite.
Equally at home on stage, TV and radio, Zoe’s stand-up blends smart observations with big laughs and a brilliantly engaging stage presence, making her a perfect headliner for a packed Teignmouth audience.
She’ll be joined by a strong supporting line-up of professional comedians and MC, delivering another top-quality night of comedy at one of the town’s most popular live events.
Eshaan Akbar will be opening the night, setting things up perfectly with his intelligent, fearless comedy. Known from Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week and The Mash Report, Eshaan’s stand-up blends sharp social commentary with genuinely laugh-out-loud moments, making him the ideal act to get the room warmed up.
For this show, the brilliant Suzy Bennett will be stepping in as MC, temporarily replacing our resident host Tom Glover. Suzy is an outstanding live MC, known for her quick wit, sharp crowd work, and warm, mischievous style. We’re absolutely delighted to have her hosting the night and keeping the laughs flowing between acts.
