This course builds practical travel Spanish at A1 to A2 level. It helps learners talk about past trips, tell simple stories, express likes and preferences, compare destinations, and discuss future plans.
Students practise key grammar such as the preterite tense, gustar, comparisons, and ir a plus infinitive. Vocabulary focuses on travel, cities like Barcelona, Madrid, and Sevilla, accommodation, and activities.
By the end, learners can describe a past trip, recommend places, organise a holiday, and speak confidently in common travel situations.
Meet your tutor, Deborah:
My name is Deborah, and I come from Madrid, the vibrant capital of Spain. I was born in Santiago de Compostela, the city famous for marking both the beginning and the end of the “Camino de Santiago.”
After completing my teaching qualification, I chose to move to England in September 2006 to truly master the language and immerse myself in the culture.
I’ve always been fascinated by languages—their structure, their history, and the way they allow us to connect with others on a deeper level. Understanding a language opens the door to understanding people, and that has always inspired me.
Over the years, I’ve taught in schools, delivered Spanish classes, and offered private tutoring. I now dedicate myself to working full-time as a Spanish tutor, helping learners develop their skills and encouraging them to explore and appreciate Spanish and Latin culture
