29 Jan - Drawing with a Palette Knife. New!
[charcoal & ink. Beginners/improvers]
Most art starts with some drawing and we are advised to draw every day to progress!! If you find this isn’t you and you are always eager to get on with the painting, then no pre-drawing and working spontaneously with a palette knife and charcoal might be for you.
Starting with a simple gesture, we build the layers, tones and shapes easily. We might choose to work on a coloured base, or introduce white as we experiment and produce multiple versions of these effective paintings. Beginners and improvers alike can create something special with this technique, it’s simplicity can be refreshing and charming.
Please see materials list below in good time!
Please book early to avoid disappointment and help us plan. Thankyou!
