This is a traditional metal craft using modern approaches in a fun, relaxing and creative way.
Metal embossing is all about creating a pattern onto soft metals using a variety of techniques and hand tools. The metal being used in this workshop are Pewter and Aluminium.
We will create a technique sampler, which may be turned into something like a bookmark, and then we will go on to use the skills learnt to create a beautiful wood and Pewter coaster.
The workshop is suitable for beginners and requires no equipment from you. Skills are progressive if you would like to take it further.
Tutor Jackie is a qualified teacher of over 30 years and have been working with metal for the last 5 or 6 years.
